Connecticut Panthers Youth Baseball is a travel baseball program based in Mansfield, CT and is open to residents of Mansfield and surrounding communities.  We are a non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing a competitive level of baseball for our communities at an affordable price. The shared goals of the Connecticut Panthers Youth Baseball board and coaches include:

• Provide a fun and positive experience for all players.
• Develop players baseball skills and knowledge of the game.
• Helping players to recognize their weakness and learn how to improve in those areas of the game that prove difficult.
• Implant the ideals of good sportsmanship and respect for authority.

We aren't like the other travel baseball programs that you see throughout the state.  Here's why....

• We are not out to make money.  We run our organization with the lowest operating costs possible while providing a high quality experience for players. We use volunteer coaches with a solid baseball background, and those who want to help develop our players.
• Low Cost. We operate at the lowest cost possible but still offer quality uniforms, equipment, and exposure to higher level tournament play.
• We want your kids to play in their local league.  Playing baseball with friends & in front of your community is a great experience.  Little League baseball is a great experience for all involved, and just because your child is playing travel baseball, we do believe that they should still be able to play little league.  Our goal is to support and compliment local little league's and have as few conflicts as possible (This is why the vast majority of our games are scheduled on Sunday's). 
• Note: Complimenting the little league schedule only applies to 9U-12U teams. Typically, 13U and above plays games on Sunday's and Saturday.
  

We are working closely with Mansfield-Ashford Little League to ensure our organizations compliment each other to offer a combined recreation and competitive baseball experience for our community.  This will include optimizing our schedules to minimize and hopefully eliminate all scheduling conflicts. Players outside Mansfield-Ashford Little League (M-ALL), of course, are more than welcome to Participate, even if their local league  is not M-ALL.

For players coming from towns outside of Mansfield and Ashford, we will do our best to ensure your local league/team has a full understanding of our program's vision. We cannot guarantee a no-conflict schedule, but will do our best to make that happen as long as player/parents understand this is travel league competitive baseball and families need to ensure that our regular and post season tournaments come first over other activities. We like to keep our rosters small (12), so most players have an opportunity to play in most games. Some players will need to split time base on skill level and positional conflicts.
